Could be several things.  I would start with the hard disk, as that is 
most likely to fail.  Also, blow out the dust from all the nooks and 
crannies and heat sinks and fans.  Memory problems sometimes act like 
that, if you have access to some more of the same type of memory, swap 
it out and see what happens.  It could be the motherboard, but that 
usually fails after another component fails, such as the power supply or 
a network card or modem (or anything that connects with the outside 
world).  Have you had anything else recently fail due to lightning or 
power problems?  You can try removing components one at a time, until it 
starts up.  If, after that, it never successfully boots, it may be the 
motherboard.  If you replaced the power supply recently, it may be that 
you damaged something at the time, such as a cable, or you lost a screw 
inside that's making contact with the circuitry, etc.  If you moved the 
computer, you could have shook the innards a bit too hard and 
something's loose, such as the CPU.  Removing and reseating components 
sometimes works.
