This is way late, but I've been working till ten every night for the

Never saw it as a ploy. Might have started as snark or a ploy, but 
definitely, imho, ended up as a diagnosis...

Don't know if House would even try to pull one over her eyes. I'd say he 
wouldn't have diagnosed her as mad and nothing else. Would have dug and 
dug until he finds the cause, like Cazaril did?
