In "Dreamweaver's Dilemma" the USA is pretty much still messed up
after a World War, so so I assumed that early space settlement using
wormhole technology was acheived by European, Latin American and
Australasian countries. Given that, and the fact that the other three
of the four official languages of Barrayar Russian, French and Greek
are European, I always assumed that source of the fourth, English
would be British (European) English as opposed to American (World)
English.
