I'm not sure you're *addicted* if you can quit whenever you like.
I can't quit caffeine without becoming ill to the point of
incapacitation for about a week.  I did it once, to prove to a
doctor that it wasn't causing a particular problem I had--that in
fact I am MORE sleepless and antsy without it? and it's not worth
it to do it again, since caffeine is in so many things.  A week
long migraine is not okay by me.  Then again, I started drinking
black tea when I was four.
