i read lables to -cut down- on sugar since my kids visited the dentist a few 
years ago :)   i agree, eliminating -all- sugar would mean cooking 
everything from scratch, including snack stuff.  and i'm not such a great 
cook.

that fast?  i haven't spoken to a doc about meds yet - we're still at hte 
stage wehre the school advised us to have him checked out, and the doctors 
have busy schedules :(

thanks to all the helpful people on the list, i can at least have a list of 
quesions to ask when we get to the doctor.  although someone is sure to 
point out that the plural of anecdotes is not data, it surely is a starting 
point.

right now, telling him to manage without outside intervention is like 
telling someone to walk on broken legs.  the only question is if the 
intervention is going to be behaviour modification or medicaiton or ... i 
really need to talk to the doc, i do.
