One more thing:  Carol Cooper's post reminded me that there is one thing 
to look out for with stimulants.  Make sure your child eats properly. 
Stimulants make good appetite suppressants.  Watch his weight.

Along with that, take care of his teeth.  People taking stimulants tend 
to eat junk food, potato chips and soda pop, lots of sugar.  Give him 
square, balanced meals, and make sure he brushes his teeth.
