[LMB] AKICOTL OT: Bathrooms in old houses

Don't laugh, but...

It's an AU Potterverse, so they have indoor plumbing.  It is in
1942, but the house is a large townhouse of the sort where one
can throw large dance-parties.  What are the bathroom
arrangements for guests?

I'm not looking for a place where people can go to make out.
(Someone suggested the cloakroom, but then I said I was looking
for someplace to actually p*, not snog, and then she said that
people just 'controlled themselves' but she is 15 and has never
been pregnant)  I'm asking what they do (or what the starting
point for historical divergence would be, as this is not actually
period and there is magick involved) to ensure that ladies don't
spend the whole evening in nine-mile-long lines for the one
toilet, or is that what happened?

Apparently a loo queue is going to be a plot point here.  I can't
seem to get round it.
