That sort of study makes sense to me, too.  I have to admit, though, that I
would have voted (did vote? can't remember) for keeping the one we currently
have.  I just have this objection, irrational or otherwise, to using the
silver fern or any other sporting symbol as a flag.  And I like tradition.

On the other hand, if someone came up with a flag that I liked with sound
reasoning behind the change, I would be convincable.  I just haven't seen
anything that makes me think that *this* is what the new flag should look
like.

order as it should be.
