Real LifeT accent problem:

There are voting machines here for use by the visually disabled that will read the ballot for the voters. They do fine with American / English names, not so well with Hispanic ones. In New Mexico that is a VERY large problem! I don't know what they are going to do about it. My guess is that they will junk the machines and hire human readers.
