[LMB] (chat) two new foreign editions

The mailman (did I mention I have a Pavlovian response to the mailman?) 
brought me two packages from my agent today, new foreign editions, both 
of /The Hallowed Hunt.  /The Russian edition is one of their melange 
mix-'n-match covers, an assortment of scenes from other novels' artwork 
in the general vicinity of the fantasy genre, put together in a sort of 
mosaic.  I see they no longer have interesting artwork in the endpapers, 
alas.  Economics, no doubt. 

The other is from Bragelonne in France, and its cover art is clearly 
purpose-painted; they selected the scene of Ingrey entering the oak 
wood, and the ghost warriors coming out of the trees with their ragged 
banners, Ingrey's wolf in mistwraith form sort of hovering over his 
shoulder like a bad conscience (or else he really reeks...).  Very 
nicely conceived, actually.  I quite like it.  I hope we can get scans 
up one of these days.  /La Chasse Sacree /is the title in French (with 
an accent over the second-to-last e that my computer would doubtless 
supply me if I knew which button to push, but in the meanwhile, just 
imagine it.)
