I was going to say, while there's often a stiff breeze blowing, I love the beautiful sunny clear crisp days that Wellington puts on regularly. I quite enjoy the storms (if I'm in a sheltered spot), and you can (generally) rely on the fact there's going to be that gorgeous sunshine in a few days.

I love the place. I love the fact you can walk across the CBD in the space of half an hour. I love the fact that Wellington has more restaurants per capita than New York. I love the fact that there are over 150 bars of all types and serving excellent cocktails in that CBD area. Consistently the best coffee and funkiest cafes of any city anywhere I've been to. And the best and most broadest arts/music scene in NZ, where clubs can have crowds ranging from ages 18 to 60, and no-one bats an eye.

Tracy, the evidently homesick.
