Natalie, that's a lesson I learned when writing for a local alternative 
weekly 30 years ago. I learned to write most things except formal essays and 
other things with a strict format in newspaper style: the most important 
thing first and backup in descending order, so the boys in the back room 
with the razor blades (30 years ago, you realize) could slice away to their 
heart's content and not lose all that much.
