Thank you for saying that. I posted a very angry rant to my livejournal, 
which has had no responses, and have posted a more temperate one to 
Ozarque's journal, where there was a woman who pointed out that Harlan's 
head is in the past and we don't want to freeze discourse with Political 
Correctness, do we? I asked  how she;s react if he'd shoved Steve Barnes out 
of the way and refused to shake hands. Barnes is a human being. Willis is, 
apparently, a prey animal in a certain sort of mind.

What's amazing is that the women in fandom are the least likely to be 
comfortable with the role of eyecandy and service providers - we and the men 
are more like each other than we are like the stereotypes of Mister Macho 
and Miss Cutesy-Poo!
