Well, I agree chafing is uncomfy. Jodphurs are *not* tight and 
restrictive, they are cut very full in the hips and derriere to allow 
for comfort while on a horse. I used to wear them a lot, as I did 
dressage and steeplechasing competitively at one time for about 7 years.
