Apropos of something I was watching on TV tonight:

Did Simon Illyan volunteer to get the memory chip, or did Ezar simply point
and say "you"?

And what happened?  And how did it happen?  And was it like volunteering for
the fast penta allergy in spades and what was going through his mind, and I
do wish I had the time to write the fanfic.

Anybody care to speculate?
