Re how uterine replicators would have solved the moral crisis in that 
House episode:

I hadn't thought of that until I read Meg's post, but she's right. How 
unusual -- technology that actual solves a moral dilemma instead of 
causing it! OTOH, I'm sure replicators will cause their own interesting 
problems we haven't thought of yet.

I personally strongly disliked that episode because it appeared to be 
propaganda (the images more than the dialogue) for a certain point of view 
on an issue we don't discuss on this list.
