I'm married to one and my girlfriend is another (in other words, I'm
sleeping with half the executive board of one of the local cons.)  And I
am immersed in their very bizarre world. They even have started their own
"SMOFcon" though neither of them go to it.

All this gives rise to the aphorism:

"SMOFing is not foreplay!"


I'm desperately trying not to become a SMOF myself, and failing...
