I usually don't have too much trouble with the non-Western part, but the
episodes I managed to see were so terribly non-linear in places, and the
last one I attempted had multiple flash-backs, flash-forwards, and I'd
swear flash-sideways, and I just couldn't pull any kind of working
continuity together. And I'm a writer who was able to pull enough of a
working continuity together on "MacGyver" to be able to write and submit
a story to the production company so I'm not exactly an amateur at
mucking about with continuity-challenged shows, but NGE completely
defeated me.
