The Governor General and I held a MicroLoisCon earlier this evening,
appropriately enough at The Raj, an Indian restaurant situated in Midrand,
midway between Pretoria and Johannesburg. We covered a number of topics
such as recent list discussions, e-books, the perils of unexpected public
speaking engagements, travel, services that should be offered by telephone
and postal companies, and various linkages to Her Ladyship's works.

James will in be South Africa for a few more days before returning home,
so his Internet activity will be continue to be extremely limited for a
while.
