If it's a permanent stay, Ma Kosti - given what she did with the bug
vomit, I'm sure that whatever foodstuffs are available, we'll be
eating well.

If there's a possibility of getting off the island, I'd pick Ivan. 
Since he's not the most obvious choice, I'll explain.  He'll be a lot
more help than Miles if there's physical labor to be done (building a
raft for example), he's had much of the same training, and face it,
if there's a way to make his life easier (and life in civilization is
pretty likely to be easier than life on a desert island), Ivan is
sure to find it.
