The only comment I have about various e-book publishers is that the 
file as generated for the MS reader does not always show the best 
production values (if you want to see a file with really good 
production values, take a look at _The Mountains of Mourning_, which 
Lois has graciously donated to the Baen Free Library.  It has the 
correct good cover image, it has a Table of Contents that works, it 
permits jumping from chapter to chapter--all things that not all of 
the other publishers do.

I have no experience of Harper Collins, however.  If someone else has 
better knowledge of them I would like to know.
