There have been many, but one of the most memorable was finding out that one
of my freshman psych student's MOTHER was younger than me!  The student was
17 and her mother was 33 (yes, obvious teen pregnancy, and the girl was
raised mostly by her grandparents.  But still!!!)  I was 34 at the time.
