Absolutely my favorite part of breastfeeding!
I have actually read about adoptive parents who were able to breast feed
(though it wouldn't be my preferred method, as you're forcing your body to
do something it hasn't been prepared to do). One of the things about the
uterine replicators that I wondered: what's the preferred baby feeding
method? Presumably if you can produce a uterine replicator, you could
produce a better baby feeding supplement, but the subject never comes up
(perhaps fortunately, considering how riled some people get about
breastfeeding). It probably only occurred to me because I was breastfeeding
the last time I read Komarr (with all the discussion about Nikki being a
body birth) and Diplomatic Immunity.
