That IS a good write-up.  It explains well the accounting/tax reasons for
the change in publisher behavior.

And the conclusion section at the bottom does go along with the point of the
discussion.  Personally, I think books are a special commodity and I would
vote for giving publishers back the special tax advantages they were
claiming before Thor.

Will Print On Demand and e-books allow writers and publishers to make more
money with less strain yet allow support of more speculative books (i.e. new
writers, experimental and unusual styles, etc.)?
