I asked about Hastings UK and Marvi asked:

According to Wikipedia, there are seventeen of them, all in nations that used to be British
colonies - the US, Canada, Australia, Barbados, NZ, etc. Eight are listed in the US alone.  I knew
about the one in Ontario and suspected there were more.  The English one is the most famous. 
Possibly the biggest.  And there was that darn battle.

I loved in London for a year when I was a graduate student.  It was dirty and noisy and crowded
and utterly wonderful.
