My flatmate had both of them in one of her bookcases, so I borrowed both,
made careful note of which order to read them in and grabbed the second one
in the morning anyway.

I didn't find reading them out of order to be too bad.

Nice, light reading to occupy a couple of hours of my time with.  I should
ask my flatmate for further recommendations.
