Phew, I am glad I am not the only one.
I got to the end of the first book and thought well written and there is an
interesting plot but all this relationship twaddle is annoying me.
Talking to my wife and a friend we had the three perspectives of a
non-romance reader (me) a romance reader (my wife) and someone who reads
anything (the friend).
I thought there was too much romance waffle.
My Wife thought it didn't have enough romance in it.
The friend liked it (although she wanted more detail in the sex scenes).
The general concensus was it was too close to the romance/non-romance border
to be a great book, but it was well written and readable by all.
