Go Helen Clark! I think she's a very admirable woman.
Me, I mostly wear skirts in summer and trousers in winter. This time of
year I get away without pantyhose as much as possible, but while it can be
annoying I actually do like how it looks. Given that I prefer an ergonomic
chair that you kneel on at work, long skirts are a lot more awkward.
Make up - well, for a special occasion or if I'm going out. Nothing,
otherwise. Can't be bothered. I do play around with my hair though. It's
half-way down my back, which is about the right length to do stuff and not
be annoying. That takes me more time than my face.
I start a new job at Simpson Grierson, a big law firm in NZ, in January and
their dress code is fairly strict. I'll see what it's like when I get
there. It will depend on the amount of client contact I have how smartly I
have to dress.
I bought my first bikini today. It's green and gold and shiny. I promised
myself this summer that I would buy one and wear it and while I haven't worn
it yet, I go to Tauranga next week for Christmas and will definitely wear it
then. Swimming, yay!
