Hi Zoe   (sorry you had to miss a great day at the mini lois con in 
Canberra - hopefully you can make it to the next one -likely to be 
Australia day)

Anyway - the nice blouse teamed with a calf length skirt and heeled 
boots would be fine. You could probably add a nice tailored jacket and 
would be able to wear it anywhere.

With the Madeline Albright figure (I have the same except I'm close to 
her age also) you need to wear a longer line jacket - so get one that 
comes down to the hip line or below. This length looks particularly good 
with the calf length skirt.

If you want comfortable court shoes with sensible heels go for a pair of 
Kumfs (they are expensive but are fitted properly and come in large and 
wide fittings).  You can also try Clarks' Ezy-Steps - they also have 
large fittings in plain court shoes with low heels. They are cheaper 
than the Kumfs and not quite as comfortable but they are much, much 
cheaper and more easily obtained.
