my (all girls) high school had uniforms and somehow many girls managed to
look different, by wearing skirts a little longer/shorter than the standard,
or wearing skirts on the hips instead of hte waist, or putting jewelry or
stickers on their vests/shirts.
now i teach high school, and the uniforms are -almost- identical, i can
still walk around the room and see who thinks of herself as an indivudual,
and in waht direction that takes her.
and hair. don't forget the individuality of hair overcoming the sameness of
uniform clothes.
