Be careful when reading Sheep on a Ship out loud. Trust me.
>>_Where Is My Mother?_ or _Are You My Mother?_ - can't remember what the
>>exact title is, but it involves a baby bird (I think) looking for its
>>mother. Can't remember the author, either. But it was fun.

P. D. Eastman (it's a Dr. Seuss book, and Eastman was one of their stable)
wrote Are You My Mother?
I have vivid memories of my mother reading this to me when I was very small.
She did all the voices (the only time I ever remember her doing
voices). She did a particularly memorable, "Snort!" said the Snort.
Megaera
grinning at the memory -- thanks, I needed that!
