forum tell me where they  came from?

Do you mean the addition:
 
"So Dorothy Parker has said.
She said it so rightly,
They're very unsightly,
But no one wears glasses in bed."
 
If so, it came out in a 50s issue of Playboy, I think.  As a  glasses-wearing 
college student at the time, I certainly heard it enough.
