Well, it dropped to -3C here in South Wales, and after just five 
inches of snowfall, everything ground to a halt.  You guys must really 
laugh at how pathetic us Brits are when it snows over here.  You just 
get on with it.

Although to be perfectly honest, I hate the snow, bordering on 
cienophobia.  my balance and co-ordination are screwed enough, without 
mother nature adding to my difficulties.

I suppose that the Barrayarans are the same, snow is a fact of life, 
so they just get clear it as best they can and carry on with living.
Which is why visiting Barrayar at the height of Winterfair would be 
fun, I could enjoy what is effectively a traditional Christmas without 
having to worry about the snow too much.
