hi back at you! its cerainly fresh. we had been doing a chapter by chapter
discussion. well, mostly me and victoria were doing it, and other folks
commented on us. then victoria zipped thru the last batch of chapters
before new years, and i sort of got distracted by family stuff. i was
thinking of restarting, if i can remember what i was up to. i'm sure
someone new to the list will have a new viewpoint!

yes, when i got to the last page, my first reaction was hey, you can't just
stop there! when's the rest of the story coming out!

yes, i liked how there are no bits of description that exist just to set the
scene but not to advance the plot or characters. some authors have long
parapgraphs aobut the beautiful scenery, but hey. if i'm on the train
passing real live beautiful scenery, i'll give it one glance - or two - and
stick my nose back in my book. i don't really want beautiful long passages
that don't advance the plot, and i'm delighted to find an author who doesn't
stick them in.

ziviya, pretty sure i was up to chapter 10 in the chapter reviews, not that
i haven't read the whole book already...
