I remember something about Barrayaran women seeking abortions after being
raped by the Cetagandans.  And if they didn't manage abortions, they might
commit infanticide. And Aral saying something along the lines of "Wherever
we planted a dead baby, they [the Cetagandans] realized we could have
planted a bomb."  Rather gruesome if effective psychological warfare, that.

At the time of _Shards_ it wouldn't be as relevant, because Barrayar was the
invading force and they had no female soldiers along.  No female soldiers at
all, in fact.
