Looks to me like Mr Hardin is an Internet security person with a side 
interest in firearms; although he's precisely the Baen Books target 
audience, hee, I doubt the name of the website is anything more than a 
coincidence. I do get the feeling that he and I would understand each 
others' politics as long as nobody started shooting, and politely agree 
to disagree; and I certainly agree with what he has to say about 
Microsoft, Open Source and (especially) tarpitting spambots. If I were 
running my home network behind a Linux firewall I'd love to implement 
his security suggestions.
