And be very careful which Tenchi Muyo series (anime) they watch, too. 
(There are a whole host of slightly to vastly different variations that 
the _creators_ did of the cast. While they all have the same roles, sort 
of -- Washuu the mad scientist -- the origin story gets all changed around 
and occasionally shot to heck in a handbasket.) It's like the creators 
are fanficcing _themselves_.

It's very confusing at times.
