Thank you. I'm sending scritches to your faithful companion, too. (No goodies, however. I'm a really tough sell where that's concerned, but I'll rub her ears until my fingers fall off.) 

My day was unexpectedly restful. Due to the snow over the ice, I didn't travel the 1.5 hours home to help my mother put Christmas away. I did, indeed, spend the day with lots of books. De-christmassing the house is still waiting, however. An elf's work is never done.
