Hm--I wonder if this didn't call forth all the crushing comments some  
similar remarks have done because of two little words:  "I  think."  Also, there was 
no suggestion that all women _should_ wear dresses  all the time, or anything 
critical about women who prefer jeans or slacks.   It's clearly a personal 
preference, that's all.  Would anyone find it  offensive if one of the women on 
the list stated that she thought men  looked better in suits than in casual 
clothes (or vice-versa)?  I  think some of the trouble starts when people state 
their personal  preferences as if they were laws of nature.  YMMV, of course!
