I carry a small suitcase with a couple sets of work and pajamas in the 
trunk, and also carry a small shovel, a couple of grating sections [for 
traction] sand and have a 'pumpkin suit'. My navy surplus arctic 
survival suit will keep me comfy sleeping in a snowbank as low as IIRC 
neg 40 f, with hat boots and gloves=)
