Happy Birthday, Maxim Poddubny!

I hope you had a glorious one today, full of friends and treats, full of
books and love. May the wind blow warmer for you, and the snow fall
somewhere else for a change. May you have a warmth hearth to sit by and a
warm heart sitting by you.

(Faithful Companion meows in appreciation, then whines again. There are,
after all, less than a dozen cans of catfood left...).

And for tomorrow...

Happy Birthday, Paul Meyer! Three cheers for a fellow listee. I hope you
have a wonderful birthday tomorrow (or today, depending on when you get this
message). Here's some cake (quietly removing a bit of frosting with an
orange cat hair on it, oops, you didn't see that, did you?), champagne (the
virtual kind, with no calories and only as much alcohol as you actually
want), and chocolate dipped strawberries.

Oh, yes, and ten new Miles books, virtually written! (why didn't I keep
copies before I gave them away?)

Happy Birthday, Paul!

And again for tomorrow--

A. Marina Fournier! Happy Birthday to you, too! So glad to remember you, and
hope you speak up more often. Here's some lovely heart's-gifts from the rest
of us, in whatever form they will please you most. (If you understand by
that I have no clue as to your tastes, you are, alas, quite right. But we do
try).

Toast! (Wheat, sourdough or rye? We can put fresh fruit and whipped cream on
it, too).

Yours,

The Adjutant Birthday Tixie and Faithful (and still shedding) Companion
