Heather, now 12 years old and feeling her age while
trying to ignore the snow here in southern New Mexico,
thanks the Birthday Tixie and her Faithful Companion
for their wishes, even though she realizes the
Faithful Companion's are a bit strained! Faithful
Companion, she wishes to tell you that she actually
likes cats and does not regard them as an inferior
species--just a different one--and she does not drool.

Ruffy and Heather had their usual hamburgers and a
miniature cupcake with some vanilla ice cream for the
birthday dinner (Mom had a hamburger and salad since
she is dieting) and then Heather got a new bed and two
doggie chew bones which she graciously (?) shared with
Ruffy.
