For both of these, the telepath has to be differentiating between
'telling the truth as he believes it to be' and 'lying'. The judge,
jury, cop, etc., all need to keep in mind the possibility that 'truth
as he believes it to be' could be a mistake. Not to mention the fact
that some psychotic / delusional types can be high-functioning - they
can work in the real world, but you really don't want them giving
court testimony on the subject they're delusional about. Think about
conspiracty theorists...
