You and me both. Actually (but don't quote me) I *think* the Mobipocket 
secure format will let you read the text both in the Mobipocket Reader 
for PC and in Mobipocket Reader on your Palm (if that's what your PDA 
is, dunno if it'll work on a Windows handheld.)

As for the Baen formula, yupyup ... that's one of the things they do 
right. No encryption.
