I write words precisely, but when typing, I often type a word twice or
type a word I was thinking about in my internal dialogue rather than
what I was intending to type. I have often said lately (sometimes on
this list) that my brain is not working any more, presumably due to
diabetes and some medication I take. Or a rather early Alzheimer's. I
have upon a rare occasion typed a "phonetic" spelling instead of the
correct spelling, but not very often. More likely is a homonym or
homophone, occasionally a heteronym. I mistype the their/there mistake
all the time.
