and since clothes are supposed to enhance beauty, why were bustles ever 
popular?  was a huge rear end a sign of health or wealth?  although 
considering hte price of fabric maybe it was a sign of wealth...

ziviya, wondering how "buns of steel" and associated excersice videos would 
seem to the women who wore bustles...
