word may be the devil, but its a devil that gave me a job opportunity, so
don't knock it too hard please? although teaching a bunch of fifteen year
olds how to use the thing is not so great..... teaching adults is much
easier. (maybe bec. their spending their own money to come to class, not
their parents...)

a lot of ppl explained how to get rid of hte ### triple line, but it seems
to me that you also need to keep your section breaks. control+z doesn't
help for that, or if as you say you have an uploaded file that needs to be
fixed.

if you use the task pane (get it from the view menu) to see the styles and
formatting, you'll see that one should be paragraph-style + border.

if you click the down arrow there, you can select all instances of this syle
border. then change each one to 'no border' and put in either an actual
section break*
or
a symbol for breaks - i always use zzzz bec it never ever comes up in
standard typing. if you use a symbol, you can later use find and replace
and add section breaks then, there is actually a special character for page
breaks.

hope this helps.
