Well, I tried.  Somehow last night in my first attempts to get rid of the 
border, I managed to move it to the very bottom of the document, so I can't 
"select" it because I can't get below it.  So any suggestion that recommends 
that I select it (or the space above and below it) won't work.

I did explore the wonderful world of auto-correct options, Rachel.  Thank 
you for pointing that out so I don't do this to myself in future.

But I've still got a line, and it won't go away <sigh>.
