on the other hadn, this time they are in her house. what's he doing there?
a nearly-marreid man, coming into someone else's house and 'teasing' an
unmarried girl? then getting physical? remember that the village doesn't
know she was 'easy' at the wedding. fawn can say what happened without
referencing hte wedding at all.

especially since she knows nattie is in the next room and will back her up -
*little old lady voice* i heard that no-good fellow saying such-and-such,
and fawn kept telling him to leave, and then she gave such a shriek! and
then there was a really loud clang. i came to find out waht was going on
and tripped over sunny stretced out on the floor. i hope that violet girl
doesn't mind him running around on her... maybe they shouln't combine the
farms after all, will sunny want to hand it down to all his children, or
only his children by violet? /end old lady voice

natty would stand by fawn, even if no one else did.
