Given the demonstrated prejudice of the Lakewalkers against relationships
with Farmers, and the consequences thereof, and the poor communication
between the cultures... where does "that half-blood woman at Tripoint"
fit into things?  "Many's the farmwife has me to thank for providing
her man with the treasure map, scandalized as she'd be to learn it."

Assuming, of course, that "half-blood" refers to Lakewalker/Farmer.
She's "at Tripoint"; she seems to regard herself as apart from the
farmers but has regular contact with them.
